UCL CanTest Projects
At UCL the focus is on population health science approaches to understanding how the diagnostic process can be better supported. This includes: understanding the patient experience of diagnostic testing, the potential benefit that can be derived from greater use of common (non-biomarker) blood tests, the influence of morbidity on the diagnostic process and the value of pre-diagnostic healthcare utilisation patterns for predicting the diagnosis of cancer in symptomatic patients.
