Jennifer (Hunt) Bovaird

Jenny had a long and varied nursing career in clinical practice, research, education and senior nurse management. She has served on a wide range of professional, hospital and research committees and working groups at local regional and national level including being the nurse member on CSM.  She is known for her research on translating research into practice and the relationship between nurse staffing and outcomes. She is a passionate believer in the importance of nursing and nurses to patients, the importance of using research to improve care and treatment and an understanding of and insight into both professional and consumer views and values. Although retired she maintains wide-ranging contacts within the nursing profession and continues to participate in professional activities. She currently holds an Honorary Professorship at ARU.
